GUALTI
In his tiny workshop with spotless white walls-so white in fact that they look like they’ve been daubed in whipped cream— Gualtiero Salbego’s pleated shawls seem to float in mid-air like mysterious sea creatures. One side plays host to jewelry-sculptures made of resin, fiber-optic cable, and any other material that the creative and poetic imagination of Salbego has seen fit to make use of, a mass of brooches, pendants, bracelets, and necklaces; the other displays a single style of court pump: 1 made to measure in satin silk, available within a month in eighty-five colors, with, on request, a clutch to match.
