Finding Gualti in Venice felt like discovering a hidden gem. Trying on his pieces is part of the joy of visiting. I now own a couple, of his creations, including a brooch he made especially for me: a cluster of dark, ruffled petals that catch the light in shifting greens, teals, and violets. Every piece is bespoke, and each one feels deeply considered and completely individual. His work has imagination and distinctiveness that feels effortless: refined, expressive, and full of unexpected detail.
What I love most is that his pieces seem to come alive when worn, less like accessories and more like small works of art with their own presence and personality. There's a sense of creativity and quiet drama in his creations that feels beautifully Venetian. And beyond the jewelry, wraps, and hair accessories themselves, it's worth visiting simply to meet Gualti. His thoughtfulness, warmth, and obvious care for what he creates make the experience feel rare and personal. I'll treasure my pieces for years.
